Detect Language

detectlanguage

This functionality now exists within the Joomla core. Support for this extension has been withdrawn.

Your users are telling you what language they speak.  Is your site listening?  Set your site language based on your visitors browser language automatically or fallback to defaults.

Joomla has the capability to detect browser languages, but the core developers have chosen to do nothing with this information.  It's your site, now it's your decision.

Detect Language is a plugin that detects the users language from their browser settings.  The plugin collects as many as 3 language setting before making a selection.

The path is - Default > Config > Browser > User Account.

ATTENTION: This functionality has been built into Joomla! 1.6. There will be no future updates to this extension.
