Break free from the default homepage and assign a different homepage to logged in users, members of a particular group, or individual users.
Joomla allows an administrator the ability to create a single homepage element for all users. Unfortunately, that isn't nearly flexible enough for one of my projects. So I created Nomad.
Nomad allows an administrator to create redirections based on logged in status, group membership, or redirections per individual user. Not only does the plugin redirect logged in users who arrive at the homepage, it also alters all links to the homepage, replacing them with the assignment for that user! Multiple assignments can be created in the plugin configuration page. There is no limit to the number of assignments you can make within the plugin.
