I am using Admile exile on a new Joomla 3.9.6 site with PHP 7.2.17 and Adminexile v 3.16.3.

When I logout from the admin backend, I get a Server error 500 message - every time. If I disable Admin exile I do not get the error. the relevant entry from the error file is below:

24280 mysite.co.uk [Sat May 18 11:07:32 2019] [error] [client 86.189.215.47:0] malformed header from script 'index.php': Bad header: 404 Not Found

I have another site running on the same server with the same version of Adminexile that does not suffer this problem.

Any comment would be welcomed.

I'm now upgraded to Joomla 3.9.10 and the same error is generated on logout from the admin panel. When I disable Adminexile, the error message disappears.
Comments would be appreciated.

That's a weird error - where does it come from? Apache and NGINX error logs look very different.

OK, your host customized the error log output...

500 error on a header, on logout. I'll run some tests.

I have been using this extension ( plugin) on a couple of websites. Most of them work fine. There is one website that is giving me some hard time with this plugin.
The website is on the same host, plan, and settings as all the other Joomla sites.
When I am in the admin doing some work then I click on a link/menu link, I get a 500 Error immediately. I wait some time click back, and in many times retype the settings again, and after couple attempts, I get to the other page. It is pretty annoying and bad for business...
But I also have another pretty BAD experience when navigating on the site... I click on a link and in 80% of the time, I get a 500 error as a visitor not even logged in.

After disabling the plugin, everything works great and pretty fast 100% of the time....

What is the deal with this specific case... I have no clue how to troubleshoot it, either.
