Hi
I am running the Free version of AdminExile 3.14 on Joomla 3.8.1. It works perfectly, but on logout I get an Internal Server Error (see attached) - the adminstrator error.log in the cpanel shows "failed to authenticate via AdminExile".

Any advice would be fabulous as I have had to switch it off for now.

Without an error log message, I don't really have an answer for you.

I use 3.14 myself, on J3.8.1 on several sites and I don't see that on logout. I haven't had any other reports.

Hi. I've just encountered this 500 error as well in the backend - only upon logout (frontend is unaffected). Adminexile was installed today. I am able to login again with the admin url. Disabling Adminexile after this and logging out causes no issues.

Joomla: 3.8.12
Adminexile: 3.16.3
PHP version: tested on 5.6.x and 7.0

Re-installed Adminexile: same result.

Server error logs are unhelpful.

Without an error, I have no place to start.

I'm running PHP 7.2 on all of my servers and I'm able to log out without any error.

Hello,

Use Adminexile on all my sites -- have never had an issue. Now, on a new site I had to disable it because I am getting the 500 Error -- only when logging out, similar to the two other people. (I checked all the other causes for a 500 Error, only disabling AdminExile solved it). I am using the Astroid Template 2.0.2 (changing that didn't solve problem), Joomla 3.9.3, PHP 7.1.14 (changing that didn't solve problem). Also, this is a very basic one page site only displaying a Convert Form from www.tassos.gr/ . I see you need an error log -- can you direct me to finding that? I was looking for error logs but couldn't find anything with anything in it.

Thank you,
Anne

The error log can be located in any number of locations. On Linux systems, it might be in /var/log/apache2/error.log (if you're running apache), it might be in /var/log/nginx/error.log (if Nginx), If you're running PHP-FPM it might be in /var/log/phpX.X-fpm.log.

If you're running on GoDaddy servers, you have to turn error logs on (and they shut off automatically), accessible from your control panel. This is what I remember from GoDaddy - they may have changed.
