I know all my cookies, but everything I try fails. My clicks in the boxes by the cookies I have listed in the configuration window are simply not saved. How could it, a "save your settings" button is missing.

I have to go there again and the video is another, maybe that helps.

OK, I misunderstood. I thought you were talking about the front-end - but as I understand (from your previous post) that you mean the /administrator plugin configuration doesn't have a "Save" button.

Is that correct?

I mean the front-end.
My 1st post:
"I can't manage to let the user of my site select individual cookies and then also display them saved again when calling EU e-Privacy Directive again."

Currently, the user can't select individual cookies in the front-end because it doesn't make sense, because he can't save his selection. He can only allow ALL or reject ALL. That's why the check boxes are gray (not selectable), but the user sees the description of each cookie.

This DSGVO is so annoying to me. Luckily I don't run tracking and such stories, just purely private.
I am lucky to have at least your plugin, with this I am DSGVO compliant, the user can decide, his choice, even if it is ALL or NOTHING at the moment.

Your Plugin as modal view (no cookies are set at this time):

I think the problem here is the wording of your message. The text you displayed in a previous post is not the text delivered with the plugin. If it's contradictory, then change it again. You can change the wording to suit your needs by using the language override feature within Joomla. The default text is:

"This website uses cookies to manage authentication, navigation, and other functions. By using our website, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your device."

You can alter this by overriding this constant with the Language Overrides under the Components menu in /administrator:
