I know all my cookies, but everything I try fails. My clicks in the boxes by the cookies I have listed in the configuration window are simply not saved. How could it, a "save your settings" button is missing.
I have to go there again and the video is another, maybe that helps.

Currently, the user can't select individual cookies in the front-end because it doesn't make sense, because he can't save his selection. He can only allow ALL or reject ALL. That's why the check boxes are gray (not selectable), but the user sees the description of each cookie.
This DSGVO is so annoying to me. Luckily I don't run tracking and such stories, just purely private. I am lucky to have at least your plugin, with this I am DSGVO compliant, the user can decide, his choice, even if it is ALL or NOTHING at the moment.

I think the problem here is the wording of your message. The text you displayed in a previous post is not the text delivered with the plugin. If it's contradictory, then change it again. You can change the wording to suit your needs by using the language override feature within Joomla. The default text is:
