Hello,
first I wanted to thank you for your work on e-privacy directive extension.
My problem is it doesn't block cookies, at least in my case.

After settings all the possible choices (with no luck) I went to "Just block all cookies. No option to accept." just to test if cookies are blocked.
Unfortunately it looks they're not.

I'm testing with:
- Firefox
- Ghostery add-on to see what cookies are served from the site
- View Cookies add-on to see what cookies are stored in my PC

joomla 3.8.3
EU e-Privacy Directive 3.5.3
PHP 7.1.13

Test site is - edited-

If you go to the website you can see
_gat_gtag
_gid
_ga

cookies are stored on client PC even with the option "Just block all cookies. No option to accept."

I triple checked all settings to be sure I made things the right way, but I'm here clueless as to what to do next.
Any suggestion will be welcome

Thanks for reading

I don't need to look at your test site to know what those are. They're cookies from Google, otherwise known as a 3rd party cookie.

If you are able follow the setup instructions in the "3rd Party Cookies" section of the documentation, they can indeed be blocked.

What you've described is a configuration issue.

Good luck!

Hi michael,
thanks for your reply.
I found that cookies were not blocked as I injected google js directly in my template php.
Inserting google code in the right way did the trick.
Thank you very much
