Hello,
first of all congratulations to your superb plugin!

I am struggeling with german language - i used the en-GB.plg_system_eprivacy.ini and translated the important phrases (not all) to german, installed de-AT and de-DE as language, set either of the two as standard, but the text of the plugin is still in English.

de-AT.plg_system_eprivacy.ini is in administrator/language/de-AT
de-DE.plg_system_eprivacy.ini is in administrator/language/de-DE

but i cannot figure out what went wrong. I even replaced the file en-GB.plg_system_eprivacy.ini with the german version, but then nothing worked anymore.

Where did you place the language files?

The files you describe, should have been placed in /administrator/language/de-AT/ and /administrator/language/de-DE/ respectively.
