Yes, it will kick you out of /administrator because it actively removes cookies. I covered this in one of the videos. use two browsers to test, or use a Chrome Incognito window to view the site in order to stay logged into /administrator
Has i was testing, i can show the message when using the System Message, everywhere else it doesn't show.
I have tried in joomla 3.8.6 and in 3.6.5 and is the same.
In joomla 3.6.5 i see different options: Example:
In the Plugin -> Policy Target: _self and _blank options
In the Advanced -> Cookie Domains: JForm::getInstance(name, *string*)
Theses options are different on joomla 3.8.6
I tried to put has a Joomla Module and i see this code:
<div class="plg_system_eprivacy_message" style="display:none">
<h2>EU e-Privacy Directive</h2>
<p><a onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" href="
">View e-Privacy Directive Documents</a></p>
<button class="plg_system_eprivacy_agreed">I agree</button>
<button class="plg_system_eprivacy_declined">I decline</button>
<div class="plg_system_eprivacy_declined" style="display:none">
<button class="plg_system_eprivacy_reconsider">Reconsider Cookies</button>
You have declined cookies. This decision can be reversed. </p>
<div class="plg_system_eprivacy_accepted" style="display:none">
<button class="plg_system_eprivacy_accepted">Remove Cookies</button>
You have allowed cookies to be placed on your computer. This decision can be reversed. </p>
I see "style="display:none"
So, something is not correct.
