I use the google calendar on the site with a iframe wrapper within a menu.
When I open this page a cookie is created. Is there a way to prevent this cookie with your EU e-Privacy Directive or in another way.

Not without blocking the content, which is how my plugin blocks 3rd party cookies.

I think there is a javascript library that retrieves calendar data - you might be able to display the data in your own calendar markup instead of showing an iframe.

Hi Michael,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I understand that when I use the javascript their is no cookie needed, because I retrieve data from gcalendar.
The only problem is that i don't have python to run something:

Yeah, the python requirement is just so you have a web server to act as the referrer. Apache, NGINX, even the built-in PHP web server will do. If I was building that interface, I would do it from a Joomla article so whatever server Joomla is running on would provide the website referrer.
