Yes, I found that almost immediately after publishing version 3.8.2 - I unpublished it quickly and issued version 3.8.3 which resolves the 500 error. I didn't include a new file in the XML manifest! Everything tested fine on my test server, because the file was present, but didn't make it into the XML, so installs and upgrades were missing the new file.
The fastest way to stop the error is to unpublish the module while you're upgrading to 3.8.3, then republish when the upgrade is done.

sweet. Question what the difference between this plugin and some not allowing cookies through their browser of choice. Unless a site has front end login then is type of extension required? I am still on the fence with upgrading from free
