Hello,
it would be nice to have a searchfield in the map to find a geo position.
Also the possibility for a manual input (over an unlock readonly button or what else) would be nice.

Good suggestions. I was unsure about the read-only setting on the lat/lon field - but I can make it optional.

Map search....I'll look into that.

The best time to take care of something important is immediately.

I want my extensions to be the best, and your suggestion rang the enhancement bell quite nicely.

I have implemented BOTH of your requested features. Version 1.5 adds both an optional search feature, and optional toggle for making the lat/lon field writable.

Thanks for the suggestion! Your Joomla Updater should notify you of the 1.5 version within an hour (my update automation runs hourly)

oops, I put the search in the display map as well - 1.6 makes search only available while editing the field.
