I'm laying here tossing and turning
In my head thoughts and ideas are burning
I could just screech
'cause I just want some sleep
Insomnia is very disconcerting

It's great, you can't disagree
with desert, forest, mountains and sea
I live in a nexus
and that place is Texas
it has an infectious esprit

Another five weekdays have ended
for two days, all projects suspended
no looks when I "hooray"
THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY
let's hope it's a weekend extended

In my totally impossible mission
to recruit artists and inspire ambition
I convince them to join
and their talent purloined
I think the results are most bitchin'

Old Jared was the Subway spokesperson
then he got caught with pedophilic perversion
The prison yard was replete
and he got his ass beat
He's lucky it wasn't an insertion

I ran across an article about a woman who killed her abusive husband - and this sort of popped into my head....

He had an exceedingly macho display
never once gave his wife a bouquet
he said - quit yer bitchin'
get back in the kitchen
he was found dead the very next day

So many sad people offended
their weak sensibilities upended
"it's all about me"
"everything should be free"
socialism is what they intended

I've returned from Facebook purgatory
What I said wasn't really that gory
I was called something crude
I responded quite rude
